Solar systems

Three ways to go solar in Kerala

On-grid for fastest payback, hybrid for grid + battery backup, off-grid for sites with no KSEB connection. Every system is sized for your roof, designed to last 25 years, and installed by certified engineers.

On-Grid Solar

Net-metered systems that slash your KSEB bill to near zero.

A typical on-grid system costs around ₹55,000–₹65,000 per kW installed, before the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. A 3 kW system runs approximately ₹1.8 lakh, with up to ₹78,000 returned as central subsidy — net cost roughly ₹1 lakh.

Yes, if you are a residential KSEB consumer installing an on-grid or hybrid system between 1 kW and 10 kW. We handle the entire portal application, inspection, and disbursal paperwork at no extra cost.

Site survey takes 1 day. Installation takes 2–4 days depending on system size. KSEB net metering paperwork and inspection adds 2–4 weeks. From signed agreement to active net meter typically 4–6 weeks total.

Net metering lets you export surplus solar generation back to the KSEB grid. Your meter runs backwards when exporting. At month-end you pay only for the net (imported minus exported) units. Excess credits carry over.

Approximately 100 sq.ft of shade-free rooftop per 1 kW. A 3 kW system needs about 300 sq.ft, a 5 kW needs about 500 sq.ft. We confirm exact requirements during site survey.

Solar panels carry 25-year linear performance warranty. Inverters: 5–10 years standard. Batteries (hybrid/off-grid): 5–10 years. We provide after-sales maintenance support.
